Privacy

Short version: anonymous traffic measurement, plus a launch list you can join voluntarily — a name and email, stored securely, used for one thing. No advertising pixels, nothing sold.

What we collect

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate traffic: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are in the world, what kind of device they use, and which site referred them. Google assigns an anonymous identifier for this purpose.

Analytics runs on the live production site only. Preview builds and local development do not report anything.

Interaction events

Alongside page views, we record a small, fixed set of anonymous interaction events so we can see which parts of the site are useful:

  • shop_now_click — a Buy on Amazon button was pressed, and whether the listing was live at the time.
  • outbound_amazon_click — a visitor left for the Amazon listing.
  • how_to_play_click — a How to Play link was followed.
  • guide_view — which guide was read.
  • card_showcase_interaction — a card on the cards page was hovered or focused.
  • signup_submit — whether a launch-list submission succeeded, was a duplicate, or failed. The event itself carries no name or email.

Each event records only the name above and a short label such as which section of the page it came from. No event carries personal information.

The launch list

If you join the launch list on our homepage, we store exactly this: your first and last name, your email address, your confirmation that you are 21 or older, and your consent to be emailed — together with the exact consent wording you agreed to and the time you signed up.

  • What it's used for: one thing — telling you when Final Whistle goes live on Amazon, and occasional launch news. Nothing else.
  • Where it lives: a locked-down Supabase (PostgreSQL) database. It is not readable from the browser; only our server can write to it.
  • Never sold, shared, rented or used for advertising audiences.
  • Leaving: every email will include an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your row at any time via the contact page.

What we do not do

  • No accounts, logins or profiles.
  • No advertising or remarketing pixels.
  • No cross-site tracking, and no data sold or shared with brokers.
  • No payments are taken here — purchases happen on Amazon, under Amazon's own privacy terms.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets its own cookies to tell repeat visits from new ones. We set no cookies of our own. Blocking cookies, or using any browser setting or extension that blocks analytics, does not affect how this site works.

Your choices

Browser Do Not Track settings, tracking-protection features and ad blockers all prevent the analytics script from loading. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's browser add-on.

Age

Final Whistle is a product for adults 21+. This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
